Nowadays many people like to go to the pubs to take a relax under great pressure from their daily work and lives. Pubs are great places for them to relax and release their pressure. 

Have you ever been to the pubs? If you've ever been there you must know it is a fantastic place where you can totally relax and have a wonderful encounter. And of course it's easy to find there are a lot table glassware in the pubs.  Today let's go for an exploration for the glasswares !

Pub glassware includes ashtrays and wine glasses, etc., the most used is the wine glass. Wine glasses are directly used for clients to hold the drinks.It generally includes flat glass, engraved glass and crystal glass, etc. Different glasses can be used in different occasions according to demands. And each cup has many different styles in order to meet with different requirements.

Normally the capacity of the wine glass is calculated in ounces (OZ) and in this passage we'll calculate in milliliters (ml) (1OZ is approximately equal to 28ml). Wine glasses can mainly classified to below types.

1. Shot glass 

Shot glass has capacities of 56ml and 35ml.  It is used for a variety of hard liquors (except brandy) and is limited to "net drink" (without ice).  Shot glass is commonly used for many cocktails in bars, which usually sold at half a dozen or one dozen, so it's in great demands.

2. Rock glass

Rock glass is also known as old fashioned glass, its capacity is generally 224ml, mostly used for ice drinks or net whiskey, as well as some cocktails.

3. Juice glass

The capacity is generally 168ml for drinking various juices or beverages.

4.Collins glass

Collins glass, with a capacity of 280ml, is used for mineral water,  specific cocktails and soft drinks which are mixed with hard liquors.

5. Champagne saucer

Champagne saucer,with a capacity of 126ml, is used for champagne and some cocktails drinks.

6.Champagne tulip

Champagne tulip, with a capacity of 126ml, is only used to drink champagne.

7. Brandy snifter

Brandy snifter is used for drinking brandy,with capacity 224-336ml.

8.Pilsner glass

Pilsner glass is popular for females to drink beer in the pubs, the capacity is about 280ml.
